Clearing up things
When I posted on NA Confin's blog about this blog being a pink blog, well it is pink in color. The duh blog is easily described as this blog is, like well duh on its information. And then the fem blog statement which has hurt so many, that was because of it appears from my point of view only, a more female game board of rules on this blog because of Laura being the administrator and that is not a bad thing. If any of that insulted or caused harm to anyone, I stand accountable and plead for my forgiveness.
This blog has turned in to a killing field for character assassinations of all people; gender not being excluded. What started out as a sounding board blog away from Roger's NA Confin blog that is truly "his" reporting of city events and watchdog page, this page has turned nasty at times.
We need to stop bashing one another and just have some fun with all of this. Life is to short and this is a small town.

In the Sunday edition of the Tribune, Amany Ali's excellent column on the topic of "spreading misinformation" contains this timeless and classic observation:
I wish people who claim to care so dearly about New Albany and its future would grow up, act like responsible adults and quit the irresponsible junior high school antics.
Well, Amany, maybe it's because those people care less about the collective good than they do about themselves, and have very little concern for the future, stuck as they are in the past.
What could be more "junior high" than passing anonymous notes?
I hear the sound of a scythe being sharpened ...

new albanian--- your comment on the Tribune article was interesting. At least, we didn't have to read another article about Amany cleaning out her closet. We suggest that the Tribune reporters get out on the street and cover the news in New Albany instead of offering their opinions.

DOES THAT MEAN THAT YOU DON'T APPRECIATE OUR NEW ALBANY HERITAGE AND HISTORY?

To remember the past is good, to keep living in the past is bad. To look to the future, now that takes vision!
New Albany can not remain in the past; if we do we become a dinosaur of extinction. We can honor those who gave so much in the the past that allow us the freedom of speech we have today.
Please everyone, on June 14 show your support for our nation, state, city, and more important our service people here at home and those serving abroad by displaying the American Flag at home or work.
Mr. Anonymous or Ms if the case maybe, has anyone ever told you the polite way to type a post? Or do you just get your rocks off yelling at people?

Anonymous: Looks like Amany's trying to get out there and answer questions.
Whether these or any other answers will please those who've already decided on their versions of the truth remains to be seen.
Of course, opinions are part and parcel of columns, as opposed to news coverage.
