Yup, It's All True
We are mysteriously experiencing technical difficulties with adding an image to our posting. This is the first time we have been unable to load an image, and we suspect we have been tampered with.
We wanted to offer here, a scanned image of the original advertisement, but we will have to suffice with providing a re-typing of the item that was referred to in our last posting. Bad grammer and all, so you all could have a gander at what 'ol Donnie has had up his sleeve.
They are calling themselves:
N.A. CITY BOY'S
Sanitation Department
New name same Great Service in town,as you well know the New
Albany Sanitation Dept has been privatized. We Work Hard to improve the quality of
life by keeping our community clean. We take pride in our work; we wish to continue to
give good service to this community. This is why we stepped out on Faith to start our
own Sanitation Dept, we would like to provide service for the city and county.
We know with your help this new Department will be a Big Success!
This is the way some of the other private company's got their start.
We will continue to pickup Garbage and Recycling. We will continue to pickup
Trash,Large items and yard waste etc. We are a locally owned company located in New
Albany.
We have had an over Whelming response from this community a long with other
communities in support of our Sanitation Department.
We will continue to take the garbage can back up to the house or garage for the
elderly person or the physically challenged person who needs help. We care about this
community, this is our home.
You will recieve Down Home Service from your Home Town Crew (N.A. City
Boys Sanitation Department).
We plan on starting Garbage and Recycling pickup in your neighborhood by
March 6,2006. Between now and the end of February we're trying to have as many
Residents signed up as possible to begin service. Please don't hesitate to give us a call.
Should you have any further questions, concerns or would like to sign up for
service please feel free to give us a call and we will be more than happy to assist you.
Thank You,

Seems this guy knows only one business... garbage hauling.
I'm guessing maybe he's been saddled with so much political garbage, he might just be shaking it all off and going about his own business.
Or, perhaps this was all a done deal when the other Contract got signed. You know, the one that awarded a $1.9 million annual revenue service over to a (then) non-existant company.
A figment of someone's imagination was the winning bid for New Albany's sanitation services. How about that? Now, the real question, the one that most likely holds all the "details", is in the revealing of the partners.
What's that I hear? Open record laws? Yeah, it's gonna all come out.
We will have our technical problems resolved, and new protections installed, and we will post the copy of the original as soon as possible.

Thank you New Albanian for the information. A Systems specialist working on system as there may be more than one problem (really odd things).
Reading this letter in its entirety the first time we saw it, we thought it was a practical joke, or a set up, something.
Now we don't know what to think. Just being honest here, folks.
Thanks for going to all the trouble East Ender. Tough to get the facts out when the public actually wants to see the factual supporting documentation asap, huh?
Having seen the letter before the first posting and remembering thinking this can't be possibly be true, we are anxious to hear what a lot of people think about this turn of events.
No way can you excuse the "grammar" and "word use", if others continue to bash Councilman Price, simply for his "country way" of speaking and expressing himself.
Interesting, all we can find to say right now. Thanks for letting us have our opinion, or two cents worth, what ever you want to call it.
Guard that computer!

We need to guard more than our computers. How about are wallots.

saw Mr. Jim on TV. like he's suppose to be someone so important with Gov. Fletcher. Some of the other blogs are strange. 1 says 50,000 gallons. Tv says 15,000 gallons. One shoots pictures and other blog directs his readers to her blog? Inquiry minds would like to know where "GOV" Daniels is? Valla Anna was seen taking pictures today. She's right on top of thing with all the problems in New Albany. She's workingfor the people..

Here's the info we got on the barge mishap.
Barge contains in rough round numbers 15,000 fuel oils, 20,000 barrels of asphalt and 10,000-12,000 gallons of diesel oil.
Again, sorry we can't post photos, but we're working on it.
I agree that if the K&I can withstand such an impact, it must be pretty stable, and the possibilities for its use for pedestrian traffic is huge.
I hope this project moves forward and reaches success.
By East Ender, at 8:10 PM, January 27, 2006
Yep. Need to guard those wallets too. That is what this is all about, isn't it? Greed. Thatz how our families sees it.
By Anonymous, at 9:59 PM, January 27, 2006
Yes, we had problems getting to the blogs this morning too.
Must have been some kind of maintenence at blogger headquarters.
Glad to be back in touch!
By Anonymous, at 11:30 PM, January 27, 2006
I hate that ugly gold tie the Mayor wore tonight! At least dress for success right bloggers. At least dress the part even if you can't think like a mayor uhhhhhh!
By Anonymous, at 11:31 PM, January 27, 2006
Our information sources tell us, and we are quite comfortable with their accuracy, that the City administration has no involvement with CM Blevins' new venture for garbage collection.
The Mayor is NOT in any sort of partnership or cooperative relationship with this proposed new company, and indeed is not at all pleased with the idea.
Meanwhile, the said PRIVATE 'New Company' - Southern Indiana Waste Systems - that's being formed to take over the City's sanitation services is currently operating out of City facilities, using City equipment, and City phones and radios as if it's ALL been bought and sold.
We still think there's rules about allowing the use of PUBLIC assets to PRIVATE companies without specific approval from certain sources.
We will continue investigating what these developments will lead to in respect to the City's privatization contract, which is already in question about other issues, and will post more details as they become pertinent to the discussions.
We tried to tell them to give the old City Sanitation Dapartment a 1-2 yr. go at it, but they refused.
Now look what we have.
Thoughts anyone?
By East Ender, at 12:13 AM, January 28, 2006
Why are they using the term "Sanitation Department"?
Why not Sanitation 'Company', or even Sanitation 'Services'?
Will this mean the other Company will raise their rates if they don't get ALL the households in the City?
We're just not sure what to think.
We're just worried about getting charged $100 for our water/sewage/garbage/stormwater/
and whatever else they have put in there, bill.
Any new info on the Stormwater fees being objectionable would sure be appreciated. Whats up with that one?
By Anonymous, at 1:05 AM, January 28, 2006
There is a bill at the State Level which states if you are not on a storm drain system, YOU ABSOLUTELY MAY NOT BE CHARGED. We questioned that 1, speficially, but hey, if you flow into a creek, even if you don't have storm drains in the street, NA isn't gonna call the difference. Unfortunately it will be up to taxpayers to fight this unequitable fee. If a tax is not "equitable" to each and every one of us, it is not legal. The end of the story.
But, thanks for asking.
New Cans Of Worms...Working FOR YA, NA, Free Of Charge...Just becos We Lov Ya.
By Anonymous, at 3:46 AM, January 28, 2006
Why have ALL the "Blogs" gone silent? Could it be because of the way my mind is working -- what the hey is going on here?
Hang on, NA...Hopefully it will get better, but it may take awhile to get there. We only want what is best for ALL OF US, right? Shore hope so...
Thank you for the space. Good job, Eastender.

The barge incident shows u how vulnerable our liitle burg with all the little people really is. Think about it. What if???? U finish the sentence.
By Anonymous, at 8:57 AM, January 28, 2006
Ahhhhh I see where your headed blogger. What if the barge had been loaded with toxic chemicals. Jim's tie would have changed color.
By Anonymous, at 8:58 AM, January 28, 2006
Our family has decided that we want to fight the stormwater fee they are trying to make us pay.
We are not going to pay it, at least until the legislation at the State level is decided.
Who can we contact for more information? Is there an agency or something that will advocate for us for fair treatment?
By Anonymous, at 2:29 PM, January 28, 2006
For more information on the Legislation that is going on at the State level, go to
www.citiesandtowns.org
I'm putting a link up in the right column on the front page.
When you go to the site, look at the top right corner and click on the Jan. 20th information.
By East Ender, at 3:26 PM, January 28, 2006
ok dont pay it, see a lein put on your house and see your house go by by. Wake up the fee is legal and enforceable
By Anonymous, at 4:47 PM, January 28, 2006
Put a LIEN on someone's house in New Albany? The City sure can't seem to file them over the past due sewers (free-flushers) and the past due garbage accounts -- wait a minute, it is gonna be that selective enforcement "thang" again, rite? We would love to recoup those, how many lists and hundreds of thousands of dollars owed already. Publicly, this administration stated they had no monies to take enforcement actions (this was the meeting at the White House Centre).
Saw Fairmont Neighborhood Association figure out the City doesn't have any monies, too. Thank you for an excellent letter in the paper yesterday.
Thanks to the Trash Force for their excellent letter to the Editor, also.
Our opinions, thank you for the space.

tim deatrick,
At least Valla Ann's doing something. What have you done for New Albany. Dumb ass Toran blocked the road off and told the media the coast guard told him to do it. Then the coast guard says "No" they didn't tell New Albany to close it off? So who is trying to help New Albany. GOD'S MY SAVIOR! BUT VALLA ANN HAS ALOT OF PEOPLES SUPPORT AND I AM ONE OF HER SUPPORTERS! And damn proud to call her my friend.
Get a life Tim man..
Do something for someone else....

Tim is Tim.
Anonymous is masked.
So goes the raw courage here on display daily at SOLNA.
By The New Albanian, at 10:06 PM, January 28, 2006
...and so goes the unwavering ego of NAC.
By Anonymous, at 11:28 PM, January 28, 2006
Now, that's funny.
By Anonymous, at 11:57 PM, January 28, 2006
What's an "autor"?
Tiny tim you haven't even come close. Get a grip.
By Anonymous, at 1:59 PM, January 29, 2006

NOBODY CARES!!!
By Anonymous, at 4:48 PM, January 29, 2006
BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Timmy, when did you start thinking that anyone cares, I think you were bit to many times by them there mosquiters you were chasing!
By Anonymous, at 7:55 PM, January 29, 2006
You've been proven to be a Plagarist; you wrote a false story in the Tribune to attack 1 you are mad at. You do not have any credability. When will you realize that? Is that article true in nature? Does someone need to send that one to the fact finder lady in Sellersburg. Let's do that one, folks. Might be interesting. He put it out there.
By Anonymous, at 12:14 AM, January 30, 2006
Better an ego than a hood, klansmen/women.
By The New Albanian, at 11:02 AM, January 30, 2006
No Roger. Better some respect and a little tolerance for people who are concerned about their City.
No hoods here. That's your imagination running away with you again.
Just like it does every time you imagine that people think you are intelligent.
Intelligence involves a lot more than using big wirds. It also means grasping many different ideas and giving them their due respect. Something you just can't do.
So sorry, you are so ignorant.
By East Ender, at 1:17 PM, January 30, 2006
You'd better check our facts, Timmy, Timmy, Timmy comments. CalL the Health Department. There was a positive WNV on Main Street down near Falling Run Creek area. And many samples from the Mansion Row area were sent to the Indiana State Department of Health due to complaints from that area and because of the large number of Culex mosquitoes, the ones that often carry West Nile virus.
And one final note. Tim has not been proven to be a plagiarist. Do blogspots rise to the level of publishable material? I see stuff all the time on there that is borrowed from elsewhere. In Tim's case, he neglected to properly cite Ben Sherman, but he, however, had permission to copy and DISTRIBUTE his story. Don't believe it. Contact him.
END OF STORY
I HOPE TIM SUES YOUR PANTIES OFF.
By Anonymous, at 5:57 PM, January 31, 2006
GO AHEAD AND SUE OUR PANTIES OFF. WE CAN PROVE HE WROTE A FALE STORY ABOUT AN INDIVIDUAL ON MAIN ST. WHO "SUPPOSEDLY FOUND DEAD BIRDS" in their back yard. THe HEALTH Dept. will prove it's false, and so will the indivuals named. May want to check YOUR FACTS WITH THE FLOYD COUNTY HEALTH DEPT. AND THE TRIBUNE. He made his bed, LET HIM LIE IN IT. Ammmeeennnnn..
