More Overflow Photos
The first photo shows a large overflow in the front yard of a house, which is a health hazard just to be that close. This swill seeps into the ground, except for the "solids" that will continue to contaminate the area. Not to mention the smell.
(They may need that boat)
Isn't it lovely? Our own little fountain of crap.
This bottom photo shows the aftermath of a blown manhole with dried toilet paper still hanging from the lid and all over the ground around it. Wonderful isn't it?
Nice to know we can build multi-million dollar swimming pools while some neighborhoods are swimming in raw sewage after very minimal rainfalls.
Priorities people! Priorities!!!

A more knowledgeable user sent the following info regarding the SSO's and the IDEM web-site.
"For those others (like me) who sometimes need more info and directions, you might point out when they get to the Sewer Overflow/Bypass Report page they need to go to the archive link. Then, if they don't have Excel spreadsheet, they will probably need to open it up using Quatro Pro."
"If you want to give the dates New Albany is listed, they are:
January, February, March, May 20, August 30 all in one section.
Then: October 22, November 15, and November 28."

Nope, New Albanian, you got that one wrong. There aren't any sewer problems any longer at this end of E Main (cross your fingers on Dewey, on down Butler and at Vincennes & Main, and of course right downtown).
Frank (my husband), the City Attorney, the State Building Commissioner, and the Mayor are involved with two of the B&B's on Main St, due to lack of enforcement of BZA laws, State Building laws, etc. You'd really have to discuss my husband's business with him or the Mayor, whichever you prefer.

This entire string, save for the first 2 comments, has been nothing but zingers going back and forth.
Anyone who has been reading this blog for any length of time, knows that personal attacks and political campaigns are taboo subjects and a waste of space.
Exchanging insults and character assasinations serves no purpose.
